About the lecture: The City of Los Angeles has set ambitious goals for water recycling, including recycling 100% of treated wastewater in the City. However, the LA River flows are dominated by treated effluent. How can the City of Los Angeles balance its ambitious water recycling goals? In this talk, we will explore how the City of Los Angeles can assure implementation of the Los Angeles River Revitalization Master Plan while ensuring it is meeting its One Water LA goals. We’ll also discuss the City’s ambitious plans and projects for the LA River, all while enhancing local water resources in the region.
