In March 2026, work lead-authored by Environmental Health Sciences doctoral student Marinelle Villanueva and advised by COEH faculty Lara Cushing titled ‘Health Effects of Living Near Petroleum and Biofuel Refineries: A Systematic Evidence Map and Scoping Review‘ was published in the journal Current Environmental Health Reports.
