This talk reviews the results of several studies to identify important connections between built environment\, health\, and well being and to better understand some of the challenges and opportunities of these plans and initiatives. First\, we will discuss environmental justice challenges that emerge when promoting denser\, near-transit development in high-traffic corridors.
